Curtis was an impact player at Therrell as a sophomore, making several interceptions that were some of the longest of the entire 2022 season. He moved over to Mays in 2023, but after just a few games, he was sideline with an injury. So moving into his senior year, there is a lot of questions about the 2025 prospect. Whether he is even a receiver or defensive back at the next level is currently up for debate. Curtis will be lining up at Newton this year, so he is sure to get some conditioning in their program that will push him in the right direction. Curtis has always shown excellent ball skills going up for the football, and aggressively attacks the pass. He is a senior to watch closely, as we think he can be an emerging prospect who can thrive over at Newton if provided the opportunities we think he will get.
