Another Williams at Ringgold, and this 2020 center shows the same efficiency at getting his man on the turf. Reid Williams is a strong young man, and can just outwork the defender until he is on the ground. Very strong player, but needs to get quicker with his feet. Everything that I’m told is that Williams is better than his older brother, and to be honest I really don’t think so. He might be a bit nastier of a blocker, but athletically he doesn’t blow me away. Williams is very good at getting a defender off balance with initial contact and then he just drives them out of the play. The 2020 recruit has worked all of HS for the moment to be a college recruit, he’s the type of player with high character and dependability that you won’t have to worry about quitting or “not feeling” the game anymore.
