Pearson plays the game with a ton of urgency and shows legit explosiveness when moving down field and making a block at the 2nd level. He shows good body control, does a nice job of making a block down field and continuing to knock more players down. Pass blocking is good, very strong at the point of attack – I paused the video in some cases to really take in how good his form is while blocking. Allows him to generate a ton of power. He does a nice job of moving his feet and getting good leverage on the defensive lineman. Pearson is a tad undersized, and worried about his frame and adding weight. If he continues to progress as a center I think a fair amount of colleges will be interested in his services. His ability to meet responsibilities can be very effective in an option offense or we could see him slimming down and even playing full back. Also would be curious to see some defensive line film as well.
