What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

All region player sophomore yr

Dixon earned Region Defensive Player of the Year in 2023. He had 12 sacks and over 20 tackles for a loss during his impressive junior campaign. Dixon is strong at the point of attack. He pops out his stance timing the snap well and is very aggressive with his hands showing good activity swimming over and under. Dixon even has a solid spin move to get inside the tackle. He’s a proficient pass-rusher with great instincts reacting to the play and a big-time motor. That creates a lot of negative plays, and even a couple of exciting turnovers, most notably his 55-yard interception return which made one of the top plays of the week. Dixon is becoming more explosive, and over the last year, he has added 25 lbs. of muscle to his frame. With all of the accolades and production to boot, what we like the most from Dixon is his motor after the football. He will come all the way across the field to make a tackle; you just cannot teach that type of tenacity, and even though he is just a 6’2″ edge, his motor, and excellent fundamentals should yield good results at the college level.
