Lovett squares his hips on the pass and does a good job of leaping up and making a play on the ball. He has fairly good speed and reads the receiver quickly and rotates his hips appropriately. Lovett really does have above average ball skills going up for catches and that idea is solidified when watching his WR film. We would like to see him react a little quicker to passes dumped off to the flat, and work on wrapping up his tackles. At 5’11” he should be able to tack on another 15-20 lbs and be around 180 at the next level. Lovett is a solid cover corner that will have a spot at the next level and could fall around Div II to FCS.
