First team 6A All region

Categories: , Tag:

The All-Region center prospect didn’t have the hype that some at Creekside saw going into the 2019 season, but is starting to get more college interest as we get into the meat of the 2020 offseason. Rowe shows a lot of urgency getting up field and you cannot teach the energy he shows. He has a long running gait, not something you see much with HS offensive linemen. Rowe has pretty long arms too. Biggest areas to improve is getting stronger in the lower body, especially in the hips and working on flattening his back when blocking. Also need to see more consistency with leg drive while blocking. Rowe uses his 300 lbs. frame pretty well and smaller defenders get taken down quickly. Rowe has good hand placement. Needs to get much quicker moving laterally, definitely an area to improve and impairs pass blocking for sure.
