Mitchell is lightening quick and his ability to close on the wide receiver is very impressive. He is very physical when pressing the wide receiver and does a good job of locating the ball and raking it out of the wide receiver hands. The class of 18 CB is really good at tackling in open space. His tackling fundamentals are strong, he does a good job at squaring up and wrapping up the ball carrier. Mitchell has played great his senior year and had 4 interceptions, including against Marietta’s elite QB. He’s really quick, and I don’t think QB’s really believe it so they just keep on testing him. Really impressed with how physical he is playing in coverage, he does a nice job shielding the wide receiver from the pass on deep balls.
