Arnold is a big bodied MLB who does a good job of reading the QB’s eyes when dropping back into coverage. He doesn’t have outstanding speed but once the junior athlete gets a hold of the ball carrier, say good night. Arnold is bruising defender and also sees reps at DE, where his strength and powerful hands allow him to scrape off blocks. He moved over full time to linebacker this year and nearly doubled his tackle total. He’s got an oustanding frame to grow into and with more time working on his pursuit angles he could really unleash massive hits. His natural size and strength you just cannot teach.
