What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
Chris Rubio of Rubio Long Snapping has me ranked as the #1 long snapper in the nation for the class of 2019. I am a 3 time All-Saban Team member from Alabama’s specialist camp, a 3 time MVP from LSU’s Specialist Camp and an MVP from Oregon’s specialist camp. I was offered by Southern as a rising 8th grader at the LSU specialist camp. I was the starting long snapper at Buford as a freshman and sophmore and played varsity DT for the Wolves this past season.
Skinner is not your average long snapper. First, he is animal in the weight room and has a bench press that ranks him near the top of his class regardless of position in Georgia. He fires off snaps with a nice tight spiral and seems to hit the punter square in the numbers each time. He consistently wins MVP at offseason camps where HE competes against other elite long snappers from across the country. He’s also a great athlete getting upfield and putting pressure on the returner. He is an early commit to LSU for the class of 2019 and the 3rd straight Buford long snapper to become a Tiger.
