Blas had over 100 tackles last year, and his no stop mindset on the field leads to huge hits on the field. He can close, that’s a fact. The 2020 linebacker has a very good frame, and was one of the best defenders on his team, which was loaded with several FBS players. Does an excellent job of wrapping up at the waist and shows the speed necessary to play OLB at the next level and excel. Film and production is impressive – he’s a good football player who loves to hit. Has a big motor too, and you see the senior run hard from the backside to clean up a tackle. Would like to see his attempts a little lower and less profile tackles, but makes up for it with very good leg drive thru the ball carrier.
