Joyner was the heart of the Discovery defense, and he does a great job of getting low with his tackles attempts. It’s amazing how quickly the Discovery players have progressed over the last year. Joyner doesn’t exactly look the part, he might be a tad short, his consistency and football IQ always puts Joyner in the right spot never the less. The 2019 recruit tracks the ball carrier really well, jumps the gaps and performs one of his textbook tackles. Joyner needs some work in the classroom, that could end up being the biggest deterrent is his academics.
