What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I feel my ability to manage the time I dedicate to my athletics and my education is unparalleled. Named 2017 Region AAAAAA Honorable Mention for my blocking abilities. This year I look to showcase my running abilities.
Cruz runs with really good pad level and looks like a nice goalline back. He is a tough as nails and just thrives on contact. He’s not a burner, but does pick up a full head of steam fast, and we think he could also be effective in the passing game. Cruz was heavily used this season for Lee County, and should get the bulk of the redzone touchdowns. At the next level he’ll have to play full back, but his ability as a runner is certainly a welcomed asset.
