Holt is a compact versatile athlete at Manchester who had 69 tackles and 4 INT’s last fall. He uses his hands to redirect the receiver right at the snap. Very physical at the point of attack and like how low he tackles the ball carrier. Holt is a natural at reading the play off the edge. He gets a good jump and sets the edge pushing the ball carrier back into pursuit. Holt is a tough tackler, really goes into for a big hit but keeps his hips typically square up to the ball carrier. He is a natural at reading the back and working his block in that direction. Holt is made to play a nickle role with how well he can tackle, but I would still like to see him in coverage and how well he flips his hips.
