Pendley has a big frame that he is just starting to fill out and we think he projects really well as an OG at the next level. He has impressive upper body strength and just uses that to power his opponent backwards. He does a good job of keeping his feet moving but would like to see him dig his cleats in more and to be more under control when blocking. Pendley continued his progress junior year, and unloaded some massive blocks last fall – one of the biggest coming against Blessed Trinity. He is extremely motivated to excel at the next level, that’s evident in the improvement we have seen from sophomore to junior year, especially from an athletic stand point. Overall, I think Pendley has the size, athleticism and work ethic to be a successful FBS college recruit. Pendley is deleting players off the field with how hard he is blocking senior year. He is finishing better than ever, and really has settled into his body from an athletic standpoint.

NIck dominated his opponents, often pancaking them. Great footwork with explosive power.

Nick has great size and a frame that screams SEC talent. He has a bigtime mean streak which was on display against the eventual state champion Blessed Trinity. He has quick feet and excellent technique that will benefit him when he slides over to the tackle position. Nick is the type of player that can anchor an offensive line and make that whole unit elite.

As an athletic trainer who’s covered a lot of high school football here in Georgia, I can tell you that Nick Pendley is the real deal. He has great size with room to grow into this frame. For a big man he is very agile with quick feet, great balance, and good hands. He is very versatile and is a great run blocker as well as excellent in pass protection. He can play guard or tackle. Definitely SEC caliber and should be receiving a lot of offers soon. You can build a great O-line around this kid.

Looking at his film, Nick has the frame OL coaches dream of. Put simply, he is the sleeper in the state of Georgia. He uses his hands well at the point of attack and does a good job standing the DL up. Once his name gets out, plenty of offers are coming, someone is getting an elite lineman.
