Grier earned a ton of reps on one of the most talented defensive lines back in 2017. The 2019 recruit lined up off the edge, but also inside as well. Shows a consistent effort throughout the play. Good leg drive, seems to get solid leverage. Needs work on getting out his stance quicker. Grier looks like a SDE at this point in his development. He is pretty strong at the point of attack, gets a nice initial push, and then slides over into the hole to make a play. He is not explosive, just a reliable run-stopper whose energy stays high.
