What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

What makes me stand out from other athletes is my grind on and off the field I’m not the smartest but I can pass all my classes and I’m a leader I’m a positive person to be around. 43 tackles 1 int 6 pass break ups.

Brookins is a good player, and this year he is a state leader among safeties with 43 tackles. He is good at closing out in space, and is very aggressive at his nickle position converting on his tackles. That said, he needs to really improve his strength, it’s simply just not where it needs to be. His weight lifting numbers are a lot lower than other players his age, and that will make a difference trying to get into college. Also, working on his agility, especially using a ladder, will help his ability to change direction and help him more in man coverage.

2017 STATS: 80 tackles, 2 INTs, 12 PBU, 1 FR & 1 FG blocked
