Pryor’s wrestling background shows out on film pretty quickly. He plays low to the ground and does a very good job of meeting the ball carrier low and winning the battle. Pryor is good at reading the play, he takes good pursuit angles. Very effective against the run. Drives his legs through the ball carrier. Very strong athlete, brushes off linemen and attacks the play. Sometimes he seems to concede the angle on the running back, and would like to see a more direct pursuit of the ball carrier. He’s a tough football player for sure, and mixes it up between the trenches. Pryor should get some very good local interest, and has interest from several D1 programs to go along with an offer from Birmingham Southern.
