The Lakeside linebacker has great instincts reading the play. He does a great job of attacking the ball carrier with sound tackling angles. The All-County linebacker keeps his shoulder pads parallel to the line of scrimmage and shows good lateral quickness making difficult 1 v 1 tackles against elusive ball carriers. Miccichi is a spark plug player and could potentially play as a blocking back the next level too. You got to love the energy he plays the game with he’ll get off multiple blocks and still make the tackle for his team.
