Calhoun has good activity with his hands and is strong at the point of attack when trying to get off a block. You can see his athleticism take hold this offseason at various college camps, and the realization of Calhoun becoming an edge defender at the next level seems promising. The 6’2″ 225 lbs. senior has gained nearly 20 lbs. since the start of his junior year. He does a nice job of pursuing the ball carrier. Plays with his hand on the ground primarily, but Calhoun should be able to play more in space. Becoming quicker laterally and showing colleges his ability to get out to the sideline and make stops will create more recruiting opportunities. Look out for the senior out of Groves, he has made some good strides in the weight room and junior film is promising.
