Holt has excellent height, so he can easily see over the line of scrimmage, and is a quick decision-maker in his HS’s spread offense. He does a great job of reading the defensive end in the read option, and sells his mesh pretty well. Really like how active his feet are in the pocket, and how quickly he steps up. Holt is a solid athlete and shows outstanding arm strength in the intermediate passing game. The 2018 QB still needs to work on his footwork and being sure to always step into his throws (saw a few that went high), but you got to like his tools to play FBS football.
