What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Multi-sport athlete that works just as hard in the classroom as on the field or track. Passionate about the game of football and very coachable to get better every day I step onto the field. Team player in all that I do, including always striving to be better as an individual on game day, at practice and in off-season training to make a difference for my team.

Walton runs direct routes with concise footwork. He does a good job of selling his route, he digs into the DB before making his break to get separation, and comes back towards the pass. He demonstrates consistent hands, making nice adjustments to the pass mid-flight and not letting the contact afterwards affect his grip on the ball. The 2018 recruit is a tough player, and this year we are seeing him break more tackles after contact. At the next level he looks like a slot receiver, he shows great hands and dig the ball out of the ground on low throws down the middle. Walton is a willing blocker and does a good job of sealing his man on runs to the outside. Buford is passing the ball more than ever before and Walton has benefitted from it more than almost any player outside of their freshman QB.
