What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I actually put in my all into this sport

Thomas was an All-Region player as a junior, and over the last offseason, he really reached another level with his athleticism. Thomas jumped in the weight room, going from 375 squat to over 500, and has shown that translate over to the field with explosive tackles. Thomas always finds himself around the football. He plays well with his eyes, shows good patience reading the play and you have to love his never ending pursuit from the backside. He cleans up a lot of tackles. The SR is relentless after the football, taking on blockers, getting low, scraping off and never giving up on the football. Thomas does a nice job of lining up his attempts with good pursuit angles. He sets up his feet, keeps his pads parallel to the LOS and shows good enough agility to react to the ball carrier that should translate at the next level. Adding weight is the one knock, over the last year Thomas has only gained about 5 lbs. despite the major gains in the weight room. Still, his production, technique and motor after the football reminds me of former All-State LB Cayman Spradling, who was an FCS All-American last year and this season is playing P4 football. The SR’s film is really solid, and shows how under the radar he is right now.
