What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
When the ball is thrown my way I make a play I know how to get open I run my routes with perfection. If the ball touches my hand I catch it . I can take big hits while catching the ball. I am very physical and can block down the field . I can learn a playbook in less than a week. I can learn every position on the field and teach it to other people . I am very competitive and any obstacle thrown my way I know I can over come it.
Cowins had right under 400 yards receiving on the year, which is pretty good percentage of the passing yards on the team at Langston Hughes. He hauled in 6 touchdowns too. He uses his bigger frame to do a good job of protecting the catch from the defender. Needs to continue to soften hands and catching away from body. Cowins seems to be their big play threat on the year, he does jump pretty well and 190 lbs. he absorbs the hits pretty well too. Overall, he has a good looking frame to play at the next level, and continuing to refine his skill set will only add additional college interest to his slate.
