Jackson has all the makings of a power 5 football player. He is truly explosive out of his stance and really uses his 6’5″ to an advantage. The 2018 recruit had to be one of the state’s leaders in special teams blocks – his solid speed is just hard to mark. Jackson shows really agile feet and we like how quickly his hips change directions, not very common for a defensive end, so it looks like the young DL could develop into an elite pass rusher. He increased his power clean by 50 pounds in the last year. At Irwin he has been been completely dominate – he’s just way to big for class A lineman. Had a big game this year sacking the Charlton QB 4 times, and he’s a very elusive player in his own right. Looks to be finishing off his tackles with a higher efficiency.
