Stephens is a true hitter out there on the field and playing on a pretty good defense the quick decision making athlete still totaled over 60 tackles. He is tough as can be, shows outstanding balance and body control too. Stephens shows a ton of versatility, and his good lateral quickness suggest he can be really good in man coverage. He gets downfield so fast and attacks plays out to the flat in the blink of an eye. Stephens is a Swiss army knife type of player who does so many things for his squad. He gets off his blocks quickly and the impact he tackles with is really impressive. He has the frame of a CB, so I’m really intrigued if he lines up at boundary corner this fall.
