Christian was a player we were really looking forward to see this fall after scouting TCC prior to the start of the season. The big framed defender carries his weight well, and shows potential to explode at the next level in terms of weight. He is just scratching the surface at his potential. Christian is pretty good at scraping off blocks, but mostly relies on bull rushing the defenders. He does get very good leverage. I like the pursuit from the backside and how active he is in general. Christian could improve his tackling, but does a pretty good job of driving his legs through the attempt. Probably the highest upside player at TCC in the class of 2022, Christian will explode in the weight room end up being around 260-270 by the time he is in college.
