Perkins is a built 2019 linebacker who shows running back like quickness getting around blocks. He is very powerful with his hands, takes on blocks with an aggressive fury. Looks to have long arms, plays with zero fear taking on blocks too. Hustle and pursuit is really high for the Perkins, and he does a good job of anticipating the play. He does a good job of wrapping up his tackles. Not sure about his top end speed, and if he can get out to the sideline quick enough. Perkins is a really tough player, and he might lack great speed, but the 2019 recruit plays full tilt, and will fill the hole like a bucket full of water.
