What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

My attitude is I want to be the best that I can be both on and off the field. I am willing to learn and I am very coachable. I consider myself to be very physical, strong, knowledgeable, leader and elite football player with a vast skill set which provides me the ability to play multiple positions. I’m looking forward to great and enjoyable collegiate life as a football player. I am firm believer in hard work pays off. I believe in God, family and football.

The senior defensive tackle shows a ton of strength out there on the field. Best is quick off the ball and shows a variety of swim moves and spins to get off his blocks. He could potentially play FB at the next level, where he is an excellent blocker and his light feet allow him to get to the 2nd level with relative ease. Best plays with good leverage on both sides of the ball. Best has added on almost thirty pounds from last fall and also made some major improvements in the weight room. Senior hits like a hammer, showing off his new added strength this year with some big hits. Biggest concern for Best is arm length, and maybe playing fullback might suit him best in fact.

    SENIOR DL LONDON BEST –
London Best started at NG for the 9-3 Milton Eagles. He had 35 tackles (17 solos & 18 assists), 2 TFL’s, 3 sacks, and 2 QB hurries. His junior season he played DE and DT for Milton. He had 16 tackles (10 solos & 6 assists), 8 TFL’s, 1 sack, and 6 QB hurries. London also long snapped for FG/PAT this season. He also played fullback in short yardage situations.
London is highly motivated on playing football in college. He is a leader in the weight room (1200lbs club). He is a scholar-athlete holding a 3.2 GPA. We believe that London would make a great addition to a college football roster. London Best will be missed at Milton High School. – Alan Gordon, DC Milton High School

I had the pleasure of training London Best. He has all the qualities of a great Student-Athlete I would recommend to all Colleges. London is a hard worker and has great work ethic. When Training he shows great quickness and is very explosive. Plus has a great frame for the Position, of Defensive Tackle or Nose Guard, as well as Fullback. As he showed during his senior season at Milton he is very disruptive against opposing offenses. I really believe in London and know that he will be an asset on and off the field when he goes to College.

I coached London Best his sophomore and junior year. London is one of the most explosive and physical players that I have coached. He is very coachable and can adjust during the course of a game. He played “H” back on offense during those two years. He was the type of blocker and receiver that that could always be counted on to make a play in a crucial situation. In the weight room he was very explosive and strong with lifts of 335 lbs in the clean, bench 335 and squat 600. Yes that is 600 lbs. squat below parallel. I give London Best my highest recommendation. If you have any questions you may call me at Etowah High School.
