Birdsong tested out well in our Cobb Combine for his age group and shows a pretty solid frame to work with over the next few years. He’s just over 200 lbs. and is more of a DE or SAM at this point. Change of direction is really good though, and with more time in the weight room Birdsong is prime to make a difference. He’s got a good frame to add weight, I wouldn’t be surprise to see him closer to 220. Good overall body composition and solid grades to boot. Continuing to develop as both and edge rusher and linebacker will give Birdsong some versatility throughout his HS career and his college recruitment.
