Shadd has a sprinters body and he looks especially springy going in and out of his breaks on routes. Looks like he has good hip flexibility which allows him to change directions really well. The 2019 recruit has an outstanding release, very quick first step which gives him a major advantage right at the snap. He does a great job of playing the football, doesn’t sell where the ball is too early, and has good timing. Shadd is a skilled wide receiver for sure, and his acceleration allows him to be a legit vertical threat at the next level. He is a slippery receiver once he has the ball in his hands, uses his speed to get the defender into bad tackle angles. Plain and simple, Shadd is a D1 caliber WR, and has slipped through the recruiting cracks and still is available after NSD. He will be a good one that a college should land late.
