What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

My passion for the game and my work ethic. I am a 3 year starter and earned Defensive MVP and Defensive Captain. I was selected All -Region & All Area 1st team the past two years. Junior Stats: 80 tackles – 5 Sacks – 1 int – 4 forced fumbles – Kick Return TD – Punt Return TD. I also play basketball and soccer for my school. I was selected All Region & All Area 1st Team Goalie.

Jenkins was a guy that a coach at his HS told us about. At 6’2″ and 225 lbs he can bring down most backs with little to no trouble in the open field. Pretty good speed, not many times you see a linebacker have two special team returns for a score. Jenkins is really good at separating the football from the back. It some cases he just takes the football right out his hands. Very impactful tackler, ball carriers go down on contact. Changes directions pretty well too, just needs to slide his feet more than hopping. Some more P5 schools are starting to be interested in Jenkins, his big frame and explosive hits being the main attraction, so his recruitment is worth tracking the rest of the way. Very encouraged seeing Jenkins plays the game, and think his skill set translates really well to the MIKE position in college.
