What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

As a freshmen I was selected by the coaches as the Athens Academy defensive player of the week twice and the special teams player of the week once. I recorded 70 tackles, 10TFL, 5 PBU's, and one fumble recovery. I have a great work ethic that shows up on the field, in the weight room, and in the classroom. I enjoy learning every aspect of the game and I am coachable.

Kurt was a starter freshman and sophomore year, and looked really good playing man coverage on the slot receiver. He is a disciplined player, and patiently waits for the play to develop before making any type of false step. Really like how he plays the pass, and he does a good job of timing his breakups. The class of ’20 athlete gets off his blocks pretty quickly and is a consistent tackler. He shows good body control and think he has the frame to end up being over 200 pounds by the time he is done with high school. Knisely just seems like a true football player with a good feel for the game, especially in pass coverage considering he is a class of 20 player. Gained 15 lbs in the last year, made some significant gains in the weight room especially. Knisely is a 2020 recruit to know.

2017 STATS: 87 tackles, 9 TFL, 3 INT’s, 2 FR, & 6 PBUs

Hardworking kid who is a natural born leader who leads not only vocally but mainly by example. I have no doubts this kid will be playing in Saturdays.

Good vision on field. Gets to the ball quickly. Not afraid to hit. Huge ceiling for this kid. Just as tough running the ball as he is on defense.

  3. Great player and Great person. It will be hard to find someone who will out work him. A tough kid who will play through injuries.Led his team (13-1 state runner-up ) in tackles as a Soph. Will be playing on Saturdays.
