What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I have pretty good grades. I understand that I'm a student first which is why I strive to excel in the classroom. As far as my performance on the field, I have a good nose for the ball. I ended up with 84 tackles last season which I only started the second half of the season.
Hick hits the ball carrier like a sack of potatoes, and shows zero hesitation going in for the tackle. He did a great job of pursuing from the backside and taking good angles on explosive ball carriers like Justin Fields. We have mostly evaluated film from that game, but when his official senior film comes out we will go more in depth.
