What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I work extremely hard and I do what it takes to win. I never settle for mediocre and I expect excellence from myself on the field and in the classroom. I am coaching and I always find ways to improve myself in all facets of my life.

Walker fits the role of your prototypical slot receiver role. He’s shifty back with a fluid running motion – he doesn’t appear to lose much speed when making a cut. It doesn’t surprise us too much to see him playing a lot of defensive back. He’s actually a pretty solid tackler even, and does a nice job of wrapping up at the waist. Cherokee had a tough season, but Walker was one of the few bright spots on the team playing both ways to go along as a special teams gunner. He was uses a lot, and his versatility demonstrates a general good feel for the game.
