What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
What makes me stand out is that I give effort in all that I do. Whatever the coach asks me to do I’m going to give it 100% of my effort to do it to the best standard.
Polk was a surprise recruit this summer and when we made his profile over 100 people checked him out. We are very data driven, so that means college coaches were intrigued. Jump into junior year, and we see Polk playing running back and cornerback. He has outstanding speed, hitting top speed in just a few steps – you can see why his shuttle is so low. Polk is well put together already for a junior, which is very promising heading into the offseason where we expect to make another jump. If he works on his running vision a little more and using his blocks better that could really increase his chances to be recruited.
