Fanning has a really wide frame, and does a nice job of getting leverage on his opponent. He moves really well given his body type, and not surprised to see him even become a goal linebacker in some cases. The Spencer staff is extremely high on Fanning, and you can see he was a very productive player in 2017 on film. He does a great job of keeping his feet and getting off blocks then shows outstanding leg drive when tackling the ball carrier which leads to very little yards after contact. Fanning is an intangible type of player, and his ability to impact the game might not show up completely in the stat sheet, but does a good job of stuffing the run in the middle.
