What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I love the game and I am very coachable. I am putting in work to get better on the field and in the class room. I feel that I am a versatile player that can multiple linebacker position, in multiple schemes. I also can play on the offensive side of the ball.
Cole plays the game like so many of today’s linebacker, really fast, showing good football speed. The class of 18 players has a nose for the ball. He does a good job of playing the gaps, and penetrating into the backfield for a stop. Cole gets out to his zone in a hurry and displays quick hip rotation. Cole has really bulked up in the last year and gained nearly 20 lbs. Hiram cam on strong at the end of the season, and their defense really tightened up. Cole doesn’t appear to have lost any speed from the weight gain and he’s getting the ball carrier down right on contact. He’s really a lot more explosive in the hips and generating a lot more power on his tackles.
