Lovett is a decent tackler out in space, but it’s his raw size and athleticism that gives him so much upside. He has really good acceleration on the ball carrier. Very aggressive tackler, seems to explode through the ball carrier, but would like to see him show better fundamentals than just throwing his body into him. Lovett has a ton of upside at the next level, and just needs a few areas to be refined. He has the athletic talent to play at a really high level. I think he can get his weight to around 210-220 at the next level. Senior year Lovett is looking like the best athlete on his team, his long athletic frame is allows for him to just dominate at certain points.
