What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I truly feel that nobody will work as hard as I do… I also is a STUDENT-athlete who is now focused and determined to maximize the GIFTS that God has given me. I know that I am blessed to have a great support system and me going to college will give others behind me a drive to get their as well.
Turner is a powerback plain and simple. He doesn’t dance around much much when it comes to juking out the defender and keeps it almost completely north-south. Turner will drag defenders down field, picking up important yards for his squad. He doesn’t have break away speed, but does hit his top speed almost right off the blocks, and more than capable of ripping off 40 yards. The Manchester SR bulldozing style wears down a defense, and by the 4th quarter he is picking up big chunks of yardage. Turner is a solid looking HS athlete and could also play as a blocking back at the next level. Senior year Turner averaged 8.57 yards per carry and has his squad undefeated and ranked #1 in Class Public heading into the playoffs. The development of his stiff arm has been really impressive, and he uses it shrug would-be defenders like they weigh nothing.
