What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
My IQ of the game and my willingness to work harder and give more effort then anyone in my way to be great. Overall, just my desire of being a student of the game.
Bennett might not be the biggest or fastest player on the field, but he probably plays harder than everyone else. Routinely you see him put his body on the line, making either a big block or tackle for loss. Bennett is a very smart player, and we think he should only continue to progress and react quicker to the play – he just needs more experience and work in the weight room. This offseason he increased his squat by 100 pounds, and improved his speed overall. He’s playing really fast out there on the field, using his high IQ to get downhill and stop the play way before it starts. He’s on pace for 70-80 tackles this year and around 15 tackles for loss.
