Tate hits as hard as his weight lifting number would suggest. He plays the game going full tilt, crashing into the A gap with reckless abandon. That same energy is reciprocated on the offensive side of the ball as a blocker as well. He gets really low on his tackles and meets the ball carrier square on. We really like how agile he is out in space, makes him effective getting around blocks, but his general strength helps too. His film stands up against tough competition, and he demonstrates a ton of hustle. Senior could really end up as a FB at the next level – he’s just a born hitter, but we could also see him as a WILL on defense too.
