Edwards is already picking up traction with his recruitment this fall landing a few P5 offers off the bat. The 2021 safety prospect has a nice frame and should be well over 200 lbs in college. Nice forward lean with his running, and picks up yardage effortless when on offense. Edwards is a versatile player who can probably play on either side of the ball in college. Hits with aggression, flies to the football land looks to make heavy contact. The 2021 recruit reads the QB’s eyes well and has a few interceptions on the year, made a really nice diving catch in the first round of the playoffs against Dalton. Looks really good in coverage. Just a high IQ football player has excellent footwork in pass coverage with no wasted motion. He can work on his hip quickness and just continue to get stronger, but no doubt that Edwards will land his fair share of FBS offers over the next year. Just gets a great jump on each play.
