What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
My athleticism to play both sides of the ball. As playing the position of cornerback my speed and vision is a great accessory to be a ball hawk and also get my head in to make a tackle.
Stevens is a reliable tackle who wraps up in 1 v 1 situations. He has continued to improve each year. The 2018 recruit is very physical, and does a great of timing his breakup with the pass. Would like to see him work on getting his head around when playing coverage and continue to fillout his frame. The 2018 recruit has played great against elite QB’s in Georgia, and we have heard first-hand from scouts in southern Georgia about his abilities at camps. Senior film he is looking a lot more disciplined in pass coverage, totaling 3 interceptions on the year, one being a perfectly high pointed football. The senior is tough customer, and considering his ability as a tackler we think he can play multiple defensive back positions. He is best suited to play a zone defense, just incredible quick in the hips. Physical right at release, uses hands well to press the receiver throwing them off right at the snap.
