Jones just keeps growing and is up an inch and gained 15 lbs. since last fall. The 2021 offensive linemen does a very nice job of driving his legs through the defender. Hand placement is pretty good, but would like to see him get even better leverage. His best film comes against Grayson, where he was going head to head against an EKU commit, doing a very good job of knocking him off the ball. Looking pretty good in pass coverage too. He has good length, and does a nice job of getting under the shoulder pads of the defender in passing scenarios. Jones needs to finish his blocks more consistently and work on strength in general. He does a very good job of moving with the defender when engaged but would like to see a little better body control too. He also had a very good game against Discovery. Jones is a tough blocker and works hard to get the defender down. He has a solid motor, and just needs to work on his fundamentals. I like his frame to play OG at the next level, and he should be around 300 lbs. in college no problem.
