What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

What makes me stand out as a collegiate QB is that I have a really strong arm, I work hard at everything I do, and I have the ability to scramble out the pocket and make plays.

Rice has always had a bit of a gunslinger persona to his quarterback play. Over the last year he has shored up his turnovers, and outstanding arm strength is being showcases with laser beams across the field. He really can lace the ball up, and he does a nice job of surveying the field. His pocket presence is solid, but would like see him work on his agility more. He can flat out heave the ball, and sometimes throws flat-footed not stepping into his throw, but that’s typically rare. Rice shows a lot of potential as a playmaker in the pocket at the next level, and should really grow into that mold the more he grows into his physical talents. Rice has the tools to play at the Div I level.

2017 STATS: 1,370 (79-140), 14 TDs passing & 1 INT
