What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
69 tackles, 2 force fumbles, I've played everywhere on the defense from Strong Saftey to Defensive End
Dukes truly did play all over the field last year, but seemed to thrive the most defending plays out in the flat. What I like about Dukes is his aggression he shows on each play. The 2019 recruit really attacks the offense. He takes outstanding pursuit angles, sees the field really well. Needs to work on lateral quickness/hip rotation more, but has nice instincts in pass coverage. Dukes finishes off his tackles well, and I like how he wraps up consistently at the waist. Speed is the biggest knock on Dukes, he just doesn’t get to point A to point B quick enough at times, but looks like a quality FCS caliber recruit. The 2019 recruit is putting in some work this offseason, made a nice gain to his power clean especially.
