Davis has been an impact starter for multiple seasons at Calvary Day and what has always stood out from the 2024 recruit is his motor in pursuit of the football. The linebacker lines up on the edge primarily, and that’s where his good acceleration into his top speed affects the game best. He does a very good job getting out to the sideline and making tackles. That excellent pursuit is a consistent factor in his film, and you’ll find a bevy of backside tackles that he cleans up. What we also like about Davis is how clean he tackles. The senior efficiently gets the ball carrier down striking low and driving through his legs. He’s a quality prospect, who is a little undersized for an edge, but has the athleticism to potentially play more inside given time and experience at the next level. Davis is a good prospect who remains heavily under the radar down the recruiting stretch here. His instincts attacking the offense are really impressive, and he just has a knack getting into the backfield creating negative plays.
