What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I will stand out as a future collegiate athlete because of my size, skills, and my work ethic.

Bennett has good size and is developing a good relationship with his fellow class of 2020 prospect at QB. He looks really impressive in his first few steps showing a quick burst. Top end speed is not there yet but given his weight and height we can certainly see that improving over the next year. Speaking about his size, it’s certainly an advantage in the run game, where he can just physically manhandle most cornerbacks when blocking. His ball skills are really impressive for a player this early in his development, and it’s extremely encouraging to see him making high degree of difficulty catches going up top. Bennett’s upside is at the FBS level and we look forward to see him take another step this offseason, working on his athleticism, continuing to improve in the weight room and as a route runner. Bennett had about 497 yards on 30 receptions and 6 touchdowns as a sophomore. Junior season Bennett has continued his, making tough catches in traffic. He has an excellent feel at reading the football and making the catch with the defender all over him. Where he has really impressed this year is making plays after the catch, but overall the junior recruit has made another really good jump in his development. 10 more TDs this season and averaged over 20 yards per catch.

2018 STATS: 725 yards receiving, 34 catches and 16 TDs
