Maye goes into a tackle looking to make the biggest hit possible it seems. He fires thru the gaps and meets the ball carrier with bad intentions. He does a nice job of squaring up too and shows a good motor hustling after the ball carrier from all sides of the field. Maye was on a region championship team as a junior. He is very aggressive, and works hard to meet ball carriers in the hole and does a nice job of finishing his tackles too. Maye does have excellent length, but his powerful frame allows him to hold his own none the less. Lateral quickness looks more improved his senior year, he is changing directions very well, and making a bigger impact in the passing game too. Very strong hands, scrapes off blocks throwing OL off-balance. Maye has a big motor, plays the game with a lot of passion and has a desire to destroy the offensive ball carrier. More explosive this year, really closing in with improved acceleration.
