What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

A player who’s work ethic will take him as far as it can. Enjoys the process, accepts the challenges, and never wavers from a fight. Start investing stock in him now cause it’s only up from here

Roberts is an All-Region and All-County lineman who has grown over the last 6 months to be around 6’2″ 255 lbs. The 20 lbs. extra weight is obvious on film, and you see Roberts handling 2A players efficiently. Roberts is a highly functional athlete with almost a 30″ vertical jump. That explosive first step led to a few blocked kicks where he jumped the snap and caused havoc. Roberts branched out more to the defensive line in 2024. He is playing well with his hands, getting good leverage, and taking advantage of his long arms. Playing a 3-4 DE spot, Roberts does a nice job of occupying space and playing the gaps. On the OL, he is among the best in 2A with violent hands at the point of attack and the body control to stick with talented pass-rushers off the edge. Roberts’ quickness is impressive, and he has not lost a step with the added weight. If he continues to progress at this rate into college, the 2025 two-way lineman could end up being a steal. He will need to add more weight into the next level, but with wide shoulders, the senior should easily put on weight to around 280. At 6’2″ and 280 lbs., that would be a better fit at DT; granted his OL film is captivating, maybe that will supersede physical fit? Earning first-team All-DeKalb County on the OL is impressive. IOL just seems so natural for Roberts.
